TORONTO STUDIO

Energized by the lofts of ‘80s artists, Photographer Nicholas Hyatt sought to create a downtown studio space that was both inspiring and functional by design; finding home at the heart of Toronto’s historic Fashion District in a revitalized clothing factory.

On2 features 12-foot ceilings, sweeping south-facing light, Manfrotto seamless systems, modular installation walls, makeup and styling areas, and a private, enclosed kitchen, all set against striking views of the CN Tower.

Spanning over 650 square feet, On2 is tailored for small to medium commercial productions, creative shoots, gallery exhibitions, brand activations, pop-ups, and intimate gatherings.

  • On2 Is located at the heart of Toronto’s historic Fashion District. Our street address is:

  • Booking can be made via the online portal or through Peerspace.

  • Building Access:

    Weekdays, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM: The building’s front door and second-floor stairwell door are unlocked.

    Evenings & Weekends: The building’s front door and second-floor stairwell door are locked. Please buzz code to enter. The buzzer will be available for access for five minutes before and after the start of your booking time. To access the second floor, locate the lock box on the second-floor landing and retrieve the passkey; this will grant you access to the front door and the second floor. This ket must be returned at the end of your booking.

    Studio Access:

    An access code to enter the studio will be sent to you via text one hour before your scheduled start time. This code will be valid for the duration of your booking. At the end of your booking, close the door behind you and press the 🔒 button on the lower right corner of the keypad.

  • Yes, we have 9-foot-wide White, Morning Mist, and Black Superior Seamless™️. Additional colours can be ordered in advance. If you are not rolling the backdrops out onto the floor, they can be used free of charge. Seamless, which will be rolled out, can be purchased when booking.

  • For the safety and security of our studio, the following is prohibited:

    - Glitter 
    - Hazers or Fog Machines
    - Adult Entertainment/Onlyfans productions
    - Hate Speech content

  • There is no on-site parking availible. However, there is street parking available along Spadina Avenue, and behind the building on Cameron Street. There are also several underground and above ground parking options in the area:

    China Town Centre (accessed from Spadina Ave.)
    Green P (located next to Hotel Ocho)
    186 Spadina (accessed from Cameron St.)

  • On2 is located in a historic clothing factory built in 1922. Due to its unique construction, the building is not accessible.

  • A complimentary 30-minute tour, hosted by the founder, Nicholas, can be booked through the portal.
